Lori Loughlin’s Daughter Olivia Jade Is Getting Dragged To Oblivion On Social Media

Olivia Jade Giannulli, 19, is a blogger, a budding fashion designer, and an Instagram influencer. She’s also the daughter of actor Lori Loughlin, the woman who famously played Aunt Becky on Full House and who was on Tuesday indicted, along with her husband Mossimo Giannulli, on felony fraud charges for bribing the University of Southern California to get Jade and her sister into the school. The school pretended the two girls were recruits for the crew team, even though they don’t actually row.

In the wake of the charges, Loughlin has been dropped by the Hallmark Channel and by Netflix’s Fuller House. Olivia Jade has lost sponsorship deals with Sephora and Tresemme and she and her sister have reportedly both dropped out of USC. That probably wasn’t too heartbreaking to Olivia, who last year made an apology video after she said in a vlog, “I don’t know how much of school I’m going to attend . . . I don’t really care about school, as you guys all know.” (Hopefully the crew team will be able to survive without her, too.)

Loughlin has deleted her social media accounts, but Olivia’s are still up, including the tweet below from 2017.

Olivia has been the recipient of a ton of criticism in the comments section of her Instagram account. She has over 1.4 million followers on the social media platform, a lot of whom are super pissed about the situation. (The scandal doesn’t seem to have hurt her follower count, though, because The Cut has her at 1.3 million followers on March 14, and now she is up to 1.4 million. Probably doesn’t hurt too much that she’s a gorgeous woman.)

The comments have been disabled on the more recent pictures, but they’re still up on some of the older ones.

“Go back to that rat hole you climbed out of,” and “Dude people hate you,” commenters wrote on a picture Olivia Jade had posted.

People were imploring Sephora to drop Olivia, which did end up happening.

One comment reads, “How despicable do you have to be to take a spot away from an actual hard working student who deserves that spot. Shame on you and your family. Work and earn your spot like the rest of us…”

“Girl, integrity is something mommy dearest can’t buy you and you have none of that. I hope you lose your “brand” and actually have to use that space between your head to do something that matters besides being an entitled brat,” reads another comment.

She seems to be in the process of removing all the comments from her posts, but it remains to be seen whether she’ll delete her account altogether.
