Back in the early 2000’s, a lot of the music was questionable. I mean, we were all bumping and grinding in middle school to some graphic (and obnoxious) songs. Some of them were mildly inappro-pro for kids at our age, but, that didn’t stop us from infecting our parent’s desktop computer with 17 viruses to ensure we could bump it at any time on our MP3 players.
One of the worst (and best) songs of that time period had to be “Low” by Flo-Rida and T-Pain. Everyone knows that song from the first few beats when it comes on in the club. And, sadly, everyone cannot help but get extremely low to it everytime it comes on. While we all know the words, and can recite them at any given time, have we ever paid attention to what they were actually saying?
Twitter has–and, they have a pretty sick theory. Thanks to @caroline_oreo, Twitter is convinced that Flo-Rida was singing about a centaur in the song.
The girl Flo Rida sings about in Low was wearing apple bottom jeans, boots with the fur, baggy sweatpants, AND reeboks with the straps all at the same time so we must conclude that she was, in fact, a centaur. In this essay I will

Everyone has hopped on the theory train.
"She had the apple bottom jeans and the boots with the furrr
She was obviously a super rad centaurrrr" ???— Fefy, with a Spanish e ? (@squishycupcakes) March 27, 2018
no wonder the whole club was looking at her…

Not to mention the fact that hit hit the floor, THEN got low. I didn't think it was possible to get any lower than low.

I always assumed that T Pain was in the baggy sweatpants and the Reeboks with the straps, but this is making me question everything

For some reason I always assumed there were two different girls, but upon re-reading the lyrics, Flo Rida never gives any indication of this.

Is it possible that Mr Rida simply referred to her footwear in general terms initially as the 'boots with the fur' then again specifically by brand and styling? Not sure a Centaur has the opposable grip to 'work that pole'

From Hercules to Flo Rida, centaurs in culture

Some users even created their own representations.
I’m no sketch artist, but this is my rendition of the woman Flo Rida spent his evening with that night. Fight me. pic.twitter.com/T7ELDjoPL8

Big ups to Flo-Rida, for giving us a pretty extensive mythology lesson at the ripe age of 12.
