On Saturday Old Navy took to their Facebook to address the matter. They shared that the three employees that were involved were terminated. I’m happy to hear that Old Navy did the right thing and swiftly cut these despicable people from their company. It’s just always sad to see stuff like this; it just goes to show how alive and well racism is. Just because something isn’t directly affecting you doesn’t mean it’s not going on. It’s naive to believe racism is a thing of the past. Just because you don’t see it on an everyday basis. The three employees that were fired are only part of the problem. Conley is filing a civil rights complaint and a civil damages lawsuit. We wish him nothing but the best of luck! No one should have to deal with that kind of unwarranted bullshit because of their skin color.
