Waiter Drops Everything In Middle Of Shift To Help Feed Disabled Man And It’s So Pure

A college student name Five was working at 42nd Street Oyster Bar when he saw Lee and his mother, Linda, eating dinner. He realized Linda was feeding Lee, as he cannot eat on his own. When Five was asked by news networks why he decided to go over to help Linda and Lee, he confessed that “seafood is best eaten hot,” and “didn’t want their food to get cold.”

Linda said:

“He casually came over and asked Lee if he had ever had oysters… Lee told him he had not. So, [Five] asked [if he] could he serve him his first. It was smooth not to embarrass Lee. Just offering [to] share in the experience.”

The post was put on Facebook over two years ago, but since then, has racked up thousands of shares–as people were truly touched by the kind gesture and realizing there are kind people in the world–even young college students with tons of their own stresses. According to Lee’s mother, the family now goes to the restaurant frequently and always sits with Five, as he and Lee have become good friends.

It just goes to show you that you should never judge a book by its cover, and, one little kind gesture can make someone else feel like a brand new person. Pay it forward, y’all.
