With so many dating apps in the game, it’s hard to keep track of them all. There seems to be a dating app for just about every kind of person, every sexual preference, and even animal lovers, too. But, sometimes, it can be a bit confusing when you sign up for them just what kind of person you’ll be speaking to. At least, for some people. Like, for example, rapper Eminem. Eminem, the one, and only Slim Shady, is usually really hush-hush about his personal life. That is, aside from his divine hatred for his ex-wife Kim. But, in a recent interview with Vulture, Eminem opened up about things from dating to his views on politics. When he mentioned Trump, he basically said what everyone else was thinking.
He said:
He makes my blood boil. I can’t even watch the news anymore because it makes me too stressed out. All jokes aside, all punch lines aside, I’m trying to get a message out there about him. I want our country to be great too, I want it to be the best it can be, but it’s not going to be that with him in charge. I remember when he was first sniffing around politics, I thought, We’ve tried everything else, why not him? Then — and I was watching it live — he had that speech where he said Mexico is sending us rapists and criminals. I got this feeling of what the fuck? From that point on, I knew it was going to be bad with him. What he’s doing putting people against each other is scary fucking shit. His election was such a disappointment to me about the state of the country.
In terms of dating, Eminem actually said that he’s on dating apps. Can you believe it? Imagine you’re in the area (wherever he is) and you’re on Tinder and you see the Eminem on your Tinder page? I’d swipe on that ass every single day of the week – even if he is 45.
When asked about his dating like, Eminem said:
It’s tough. Since my divorce I’ve had a few dates and nothing’s panned out in a way that I wanted to make it public. Dating’s just not where I’m at lately.
But, he did say he’s on Tinder. AND Grindr.
Tinder. And Grindr. I also used to go to strip clubs.
That’s right, Eminem said he’s on Grindr. In case you’re unsure, Grindr is a dating app for gays, bis, trans, and queer people to meet and connect. So, it’s a bit of a shock to some to hear Eminem say he’s on the app. Twitter, of course, had a lot of thoughts – like, how bad the journalist was who didn’t ask a follow-up question.
