Federal Communications Commission Chairman Ajit Pai became the most hated man in America when the FCC voted in a 3-2 party-line vote to repeal net neutrality rules set in 2015. Under this new plan, ISP (Internet Service Providers) will now have the ability to block websites and charge for higher-quality service or content at their whim.
We’re disappointed in the decision to gut #NetNeutrality protections that ushered in an unprecedented era of innovation, creativity & civic engagement. This is the beginning of a longer legal battle. Netflix stands w/ innovators, large & small, to oppose this misguided FCC order.

Ajit Pai’s logic is that consumers will eventually benefit when broadband providers like Verizon or AT&T are able to offer a wider variety of service options, whatever that means. Opponents of the repeal of net neutrality argue that if nothing is going to change for consumers, why repeal net neutrality in the first place?
As many pointed out, Pai must be congratulated on one thing, at least: He has successfully trumped Trump for the title of Worst Human Alive.
1.
Ajit Pai is 44 years old and he made a Harlem Shake video. For that alone he deserves prison.

If my dog suddenly had the ability to talk to me that'd be so rad. But then I just imagine him saying 'You know I think Ajit Pai has a point' and then I'd have to put him down. 😦
