‘Elf On The Shelf’ Makeup Is Now A Thing And It’s Creepy AF

Elf on the Shelf, the classic children’s picture book turned ultimate hide-and-go-seek game, has now made its mark in the makeup industry and it’s definitely an eye-opener. But before we unveil this new look, we must ask: if you had to picture a makeup look inspired by Elf on the Shelf, what would you envision? Something cheerful and festive like the spritely elf himself, right? Well, makeup artist, Zoe, (@Zoe-artistsharvest on Instagram) had a different vision, and it’s a little more jarring than one would think. Think Halloween met Christmas. Or rather Evil Elf on the Shelf. Either way, it’s definitely a sight to see and sort of reminds us of the floating head makeup trend that surfaced in October. Fortunately, if you dig the looks, she listed what products she used in the bio. But if they’re a little too dramatic for you (which is understandable), it’s still a sight to see and sends forward the idea that makeup is truly an art form. Let’s take a look!

OW! That would really hurt your eye sockets if it happened IRL, but it is a pretty impressive look. Positive words poured into the comments section.

And one user was even trying to wife her up

Ahh, the menacing elf strikes again. This time her jaw takes a hit.

Welp, it looks like he skipped a day of making toys at Santa’s workshop to commit arson. No biggie.

And now he’s tangling her up in his web of evil!

This is a good way for the moody teenage to rebel and when she doesn’t get the gifts she wants.

?CANDYCANE CARNAGE? At it again… Time-wise this is about all I can manage, so Mr. Elf is going to be hanging around a little longer as I make plans behind the scenes to achieve as many as I can of the 12 days of Christmas ready for the lead up to the big day… Products used: @maccosmetics #prolongwear foundation and concealer @maccosmeticsuk lipstick in shade #sushikiss @maccosmetics eyeshadow In #paradisco (used as blush too) @natashadenona #lilapalette @anastasiabeverlyhills #eyebrowpomade @mehronmakeup #paradisepaint in red DiamondFX in white and skin tones @mehronmakeup #starblends in tan and ebony . . Special thanks to @hairby.sophie at @haringtonswokingham for a lovely and very much needed colour and cut today. Instagram couldn’t even believe that she made that candy cane solely out of makeup!

Would you try these looks at home? These are definitely looks you can’t pull off easily, especially not with 7-Eleven’s new makeup line. I think they’re pretty neat, and according to Zoe’s Instagram posts, we can definitely expect more Elf on the Shelf inspired makeup looks. What will she come up with next?
