You can’t deny the fact that Twitter is basically the only social media platform that allows you to eloquently express your rage at such an accessible manner, but you can’t also deny the fact that Grammy Nominee season is one we all live for. There are the hardcore fans that feel that their musician got snubbed, then there are those who believe that everything is rigged and you shouldn’t waste your time on award shows and then there are those who believe that their coveted musician should win basically every category that could possibly be offered by the recording academy. Generally speaking, it’s just a great hilarious sight to experience. Which is why I was pretty excited when the recording academy decided to release the full Grammy’s 2018 nominees list with Jay Z leading the board with a total of 8 nominations. Who would have thought? Wasn’t really aware that he had dropped an album in the first place. I guess you learn something new every day, am I right?
Well as shocked as I was with the news, so was Twitter and to be honest, they did not hold back.
