Drake AKA Drizzy AKA Champagne Papi was performing at an after-party at Sydney’s Marquee nightclub last Wednesday when he stopped— mid-track—to call out and threaten a man in the crowd who appeared to be groping audience members.
Drake, who is notorious for his sensitivity and also knowing how to treat a woman right, (the man collects Birkin bags for his future wife! Like, what?!) halted the song to point his finger of justice and inform said groper, “If you don’t stop touching girls, I’m gonna come out there and fuck you up.” Then, because the entire audience burst out screaming and alleged groper was probably like, who, me? he reiterated: “If you don’t stop putting your hands on girls, I’m gonna come out there and fuck your ass up.”

Reports are vague on what happened next. He continued to yell but nobody caught video of it and if they did it would’ve been hard to hear anyhow. Presumably, the offender was kicked out of the venue, although I really would’ve enjoyed video of Drake “fucking his ass up” much more. Drizzy jumped back into his track and the rest is history.
Drake’s outburst is timely. If the last year has shown us anything, it’s that every famous person is a disgusting pervert it’s time for men in power to take accountability for their actions, and that any form of sexual assault, harassment or abuse, will simply not be tolerated. Maybe Drake “gets it” better than most because he’s Canadian.
