Sealing someone else’s artwork is pretty low, and unfortunately it happens all the time. For all the good the internet has done (like giving us cats that look grumpy and… that might be it actually) it also allows big companies to find an obscure piece of artwork, print it on a canvas or piece of clothing, and make money off of it. Which isn’t cool, bro!
Fortunately, a lot of times, the artists become aware of the infraction and call out the company publicly. They don’t always win the day, but seeing someone get caught red-handed for stealing is one sweet form of justice.
