5 Of The Most Haunted & Scariest Places To Visit This Halloween

4. The Stanley Hotel (Estes Park, Colorado):

You all probably know about this one. The Stanley Hotel, located in Estes Park, CO. Many know it because of the movie The Shining, but truly this is one of the most haunted places in America. (I have been there myself and it definitely is freaky!!) The hotel was run by Mr. FO Stanley, and his wife Flora Stanley and supposedly they still haunt the halls. Mrs. Stanley supposedly plays the piano. Mr. Stanley showing up in the lobby and billiards room and other unusual paranormal activity. This is a must-see.

5. Eastern State Penitentiary (Philadelphia, PA):

Last but not least, the Eastern State Penitentiary located in Philadelphia. What’s scarier than an abandoned prison? This prison was the first to implement solitary confinement, and to inspire penitence, which led the prisoners to go insane by being in solitary confinement for their entire sentence. Inmates would be required to wear hoods over their heads so they could not communicate with any other prisoner. Many prisoners could not take this punishment and took their own lives instead. These haunted grounds are swarming with prisoner spirits alike.

Think you can handle it?
