You may have heard there’s a new Tomb Raider movie coming out. No, it’s not another early-2000’s Angelina Jolie one, it’s a reboot starring Oscar winner Alicia Vikander.
It’s actually pretty cool. The original movies were based on the original games, where Lara Croft was a sex-object with huge boobs and tiny shorts made for guys to fantasize about while they played video games in their basements. The new movie is based on the new games, where Lara Croft is (gasp) an actual character! With flaws! And feelings! And pants!
The movie could still suck. I don’t know. But it seemed like a step in the right direction. That is… until this poster was released:

You seeing it?
What the literal hell is up with her neck? Is that some kind of special tomb raiding neck? Like she can snake her head around in small spaces and pick up relics with her mouth?
Na, it’s just a terrible Photoshop job. Needless to say, the internet jumped in with comments, suggestions, and fixes.
@frontastic Is it just me or is her neck all wrong?

The new #TombRaider poster actually stays very true to the *original* game but you fake fans wouldn't know that, would you? #TombRaiderMovie pic.twitter.com/P7PgC2Lk2z
