When your ex-girlfriend sends you an apology letter – a lot of emotions can come to light. You may feel sad, nostalgic, angry, depressed – or, you may feel ruthless and heartless. Nick Lutz was feeling some type of way when his ex-girlfriend sent him a hand-written apology letter, saying she’s sorry for “failing” as a girlfriend.
Instead of reading the letter and then hiding it away in a box, like most people do, Lutz decided to shed some humor into the world by going “professor style” and correcting the letter with a red pen – and, grading it. Apparently, he also sent it back graded and corrected.
She got a D-.
No pun intended.
Lutz shared the letter to Twitter – basically exposing his ex-girlfriend’s entire heart and making an utter fool of her – ouch.

After posting the letters online and going viral, Nick was reportedly suspended from the University of Central Florida, where he attends college as a senior. According to the letter received by Nick, his behavior had violated their student code of conduct. Nick took to Facebook to stand up for himself, saying it violated his “1st amendment right.”
Since sharing this, Nick appeared in front of the school board and his case was officially dismissed by UCF.
It was a great sigh of relief that I report that the case has officially been dismissed by UCF! Thank you everyone, especially @JacobVStuart pic.twitter.com/X9xPGh0QrH

While he was merely looking for some Twitter fame and to make a quick joke – he had to suffer the consequences. It just goes to show you kids that whatever you put online can come back to bite you in the ass, big time.
