Some people are just not smart – there’s no harm in saying it. Everyone has their “thing.” Some people are good at singing, some people are good at dancing, some people are good at – well – thinking. Others, not so much. After the 2017 Presidential Election – I had lost faith in many Americans,. But, now, I’m officially speechless.
According to a new survey, a quarter of Americans – 1 in 4 – think that the sun revolves around the Earth.
Are you kidding me? Did you not take Earth Science in 7th grade? How can the sun – the big, big sun – travel around the Earth in one whole day? Are you KIDDING ME? *deep breaths*.
The survey had asked 2,200 Americans some questions about life, science and The Universe – and, they basically failed their exam. Shocker.
I thought it was bad enough that 16 million Americans still thought that chocolate milk comes from brown cows – but this, this is just wild. The next time you’re out with your friends or at the supermarket or hey, I don’t know, voting for the President of the United States – see how many people are around you and realize – wow, one in four of you are real f*cking stupid.
