‘The Rock’ Has Officially Been Filed For A 2020 Presidential Campaign

In 2017, if America has learned anything, it’s that anyone can be President. Remember the days when you would go around your 3rd grade classroom talking about what you want to be when you grow up, and you would laugh at the little boy who said “President of the United States?” Well – hold your laughter because if Donald Trump can be President – anyone can be President.

Even, an ex-WWE Wrestler turned actor – like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

A while back, people joked around saying that The Rock would be a great candidate to run in 2020 – because, we need a strong man who doesn’t take any sh*t to stand in the White House. No, but seriously, it was from a Washington Post piece that opened our eyes to the fact that hey, maybe he is a decent candidate after all.

After it went viral online and people played “telephone” saying “OMG THE ROCK IS RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT,” he found it quite amusing and even played along – but, then, in an interview with GQ, he spoke about the real consideration of doing so saying:

“I think that it’s a real possibility.”

To further this “possibility,” someone actually filed Dwayne Johnson for a campaign committee for the 2020 Presidential Election under the Federal Election Commission by the name of “Run the Rock 2020.” You can thank a random man from West Virginia named Kenton Tilford.

While no one can quite distinguish the connection between the two men – The Rock now has a full committee ready to start his campaign if he decides to take his possibility and make it a reality.

I wonder if Putin can smell what The Rock is cookin’.
