If you’re a music junkie, you probably subscribe to a service like Spotify, Google Music, Apple Music or Pandora to get unlimited songs for “free” essentially – rather than paying per song. But, back in the day, we didn’t pay for music at all. Instead, we downloaded programs that crashed our parents computers only to create mix CD’s we’d play on our cheap boombox’s at parties we were too young to drink at. And, the center of it all, was LimeWire.
