If you go out to any bar or club this summer, I can be you $1 million cash money that you will hear the song “Despacito,” played at least 4-5 times that night. It’s no secret that the Spanish/English mash-up has become the song of Summer 2017 and that every white girl in America is obsessed with it – probably because the Biebs sings in the beginning and not because Daddy Yankee can rap Spanish better than a God.
Recently, there’s been a lot of talk about Justin Bieber and how much of a phony he is – mainly because he can’t remember the damn words to the song ever when he’s performing places. Like, the one time he completely forgot the lyrics to “Despacito” on stage when performing in New York City.
Even more recent – while performing at Summerburst Festival in Stockholm, fans were requesting he sing the latin hit song and he responded:
“I can’t do ‘Despacito.’ I don’t even know it.”
Fans were not happy with this response and instead of understanding that the Biebs does not speak a lick of Spanish – they threw a water bottle at his head.
Luckily, the Biebs was so smooth he dodged the bullet. But, all in all, that’s a sh*tty way to act while you’re at a music festival, even if the performer doesn’t sing the song you want to hear. Don’t be that d*ck.
