If you don’t know what Yik-Yak was – I’m here to hit you with some knowledge.
Yik-Yak was an app that launched in 2013 and allowed users to post funny statuses, memes and pictures within a 5-mile radius. With the location aspect being the most important feature of the app, a lot of kids in college used it to find hilarious jokes about the university, since, they’re all dying in hell together.
The app was popular for about a year or two until it had some changes and people were like, “nah.” Since then, Yik-Yak fell off the face of the earth, officially, on May 5th.
But, we still have these gems to help us remember the good ol’ times of popularity.
