If you haven’t been following the Jonny Depp vs. Amber Heard trial, it’s finally over and the verdict has been announced.
The jury awarded Depp $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million dollars in punitive damages. The jury awarded Heard $2 million in compensatory damages and no money for punitive damages.
Relieved, Depp posted this statement on social media explaining, “the jury gave me my life back”
Heard also released a statement, describing her disappointment, and how this verdict is a setback for all women
