I’ve had numerous customer service jobs throughout my life. Each one has had its own “I don’t get paid enough for this shit” moment. For example, I remember working at a clothing store that had a huge labor day sale. Everything was 50% off and a lovely Karen-type lost her mind because we couldn’t apply a 50% off coupon on top of the storewide sale. It was one or the other but she actually thought the store would let her take 100% off her bill. She asked for the manager who also said, “are you serious?” I don’t miss those days. It’s nice to know I’m not the only one who’s had an “I don’t get paid enough for this shit” moment.
