Forget baking bread. Let’s get to work on our cocktail-making skills—and let Stanley Tucci be the guide. The actor decided to make a Negronis for himself and his wife Felicity Blunt, and the resulting video is making the rounds on Twitter.
He is very adamant about using a “good sweet vermouth,” which is maybe why all my Negronis taste like bitter garbage. Folks, listen to this man. Tucci also “laces” his Negroni with gin and tops it off with a perfectly sliced orange. “Put some of the juice in it,” he advises.
Twitter has officially declared the quarantini dead, replaced by Stanley Tucci’s Negroni.
Even actor Chris Evans had glowing things to say about his co-stars mixology skills.
“On some (most) days after we finished filming on the first Captain America movie, Stanley would make us martinis in his trailer,” Evans wrote. “He’s an absolute gem. However cool, witty, and charming you think he is, double it, and you’re halfway there.”
At the end of the video, Blunt reaches her hand out expectantly for the delicious-looking cocktail. Salute!
