If you’re not much of a reader, you’re doing yourself a disservice. A book will never leave you, and it will never change when you aren’t looking, and you’ll never wake up in bed next to it wondering where the years have gone and how your life would be different if you had just read that other book.
Ahem…just a few things that will never apply to books.
But anyway, if you’re ever bored and thinking to yourself, I’d love to be entertained for hours on end, but I cannot muster the intellectual intensity required to finish season two of Westworld, go ahead and grab a book. Regardless of what book it is, I promise it’ll be easier to get through than season 2 of Westworld. I swear to you.
Plus, you’ll be joining a very long tradition of lit-lovers, an awesome nerdy in-group that’s very worth the investment. Exercise your mind, dammit! These folks clearly do.
