It’s no secret that Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are one of our favorite celebrity couples.
The two are constantly showing time and time again the key to a happy and healthy marriage is having a great sense of humor with your spouse. Whether they’re roasting each other on social media or attending red carpet events, these two never disappoint. Just look at how adorable Blake Lively’s clutch was at the Met Gala this year…
Obsessed, right? Well, it gets even better. This week at the “Deadpool 2” premiere, Lively and Reynolds stepped out hand-in-hand looking as adorable as ever, and Lively showed off a sweet tribute to her hubby’s new film.
That’s right–Deadpool nails! Clearly, Lively is going all-out to show her pride in her man. But, what really got us was the comments that Reynolds made on the red carpet about his wife. Reynolds told Entertainment Tonight:
“Oh, I’m Mr. Lively 24/7. And I’m happy about it. It’s great. [It’s the] best gig.”
He also told Vanity Fair that his family is the most important thing to him.
My family is everything to me, and that’s what brought about Deadpool 2. Actually, for [screenwriters] Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, and myself — we’ve been friends for 10 years, and in that time we all acquired families and sort of grown up a little bit. So we wanted to write that into the story. The idea of love and family is what’s in Deadpool 2, even though I am still as immature as f*ck!”
And, Lively has been his greatest gift of all.
“[Blake has] immeasurably made my life better. She’s my best friend. I absolutely love and respect her. She’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”
Someone grab me some tissues because I’m in tears.
