Kim Cattrall ‏Made A Pretty Petty Statement About Cynthia Nixon Running For Governor

For years, there have been rumors of drama between the four women of “Sex and the City.” While on-screen they seemed to be friendly, happy, and full of glee as they sipped their cosmos and talked trash about men–off-screen, it is all fire and shade.

It seems as though the main source of drama has been from Kim Cattrall, who played Samantha Jones on the hit HBO show so many years ago. She and Sarah Jessica Parker, aka THE Carrie Bradshaw, have had some “unresolved” issues and back-and-forth social media subliminal messages. Recently, Kim Cattrall proved that she may be on the outs with some other co-stars–like Cynthia Nixon, who played the strong and powerful Miranda.

Nixon has made headlines recently across the country as she announced her campaign for governor of New York. While many people support Nixon and her desire to clean up the city and fix the problems with the subway system and the MTA.

Kristin Davis, our beloved Charlotte, had spoken out in support of Nixon–saying how “proud” she was.

Willie Garson also showed his support for his former co-star by reposting a video to his personal Instagram page.

More recently, Kim Cattrall showed that she “supports” Nixon’s run for governor, in a less warm and fuzzy way. A Fan asked Cattrall what she thinks of Nixon running for governor.

She responded in a pretty petty and cold manner–saying she supports any “former colleague’s right to make their own career choices.” Yes, she said she supports Nixon, but also referred to her as a “former colleague” (cold) and that she “has the right to make their own career choices.” Come on, that has ice dripping from it. Compared to the other endorsements Nixon’s received from “former colleagues,” it’s obviously backhanded.

Many responded saying it was absolutely Cattrall throwing shade.

Nixon, on the other hand, took the high road and thanked Kim for her words.
