Schizophrenia:
Schizophrenia is a severe mental disorder in which people interpret reality abnormally. It may result in some combination of hallucinations, delusions, and extremely disordered thinking and behavior that impairs daily functioning, and can be disabling. Schizophrenia is a chronic condition, requiring lifelong treatment.
1. Emotionless.
A lot of people think if you’re Schizophrenic you’ll be intensely emotional and manic but that’s not always the case. The complete lack of emotion or interest in anything can also be a symptom of people dealing with Schizophrenia.
2. Constant suspicion and paranoia.
Someone becomes unnecessarily suspicious of close friends or family can be a symptom of Schizophrenia. If they become wildly suspicious of your neighbor or the mailman or something you should take note.
3. A strange sense of humor.
If someone can’t help but laugh at strange, uncomfortable situations or has a poor ability to evaluate emotional conditions they could be Schizophrenic. Not being able to control when you laugh might not be a good sign.
4. Your sense of smell and taste have changed.
If things you’ve always loved the smell or taste of begins to strangely change you might need to schedule a doctors appointment. I mean drastically changing from your favorite food beginning to taste like dirt, not something minimal like you enjoying a flavor of ice cream less.
