Anxiety:
Anxiety disorders are a group of mental disorders characterized by significant feelings of anxiety and fear. People suffering from anxiety worry about future events and fear is their reaction to current events. These feelings may cause physical symptoms, such as a fast heart rate and shakiness.
1. Profusely sweating.
If you find yourself in a cold classroom during the winter with the air conditioning on and before you have to take a test you’re literally dripping sweat. You might just suffer from anxiety.
2. Sudden nausea.
Before an event that may be considered stressful you can’t help but feel like you’re going to puke. Sometimes you might other times it might just be the feelings but both are symptoms of an anxiety attack.
3. Hyperventilating
You can find it difficult to get oxygen into your lungs and begin to hyperventilate if you have an anxiety attack. If this is the case try and take slow deep breathes until your body relaxes.
4. Feeling like death is imminent.
If you can’t stop thinking about death whether it’s your loved ones or your own this can be a symptom of acute anxiety. If you feel like death is lurking at every corner it’s possible you suffer from anxiety.
