That is really beautiful, a lovely model to follow! I hope (and trust) that it helps with such a frustrating and mysterious condition.

She is lucky to have you.

Wow this is a really great idea. Sometimes depression makes it really hard for people to hear what you are trying to say and sometimes talking doesnt help. I’m gonna pass this idea along if you don’t mind

The fact that what you have done is so personal should in itself provide some relief. You are special.

As someone suffering too, I want you to know what you’re doing could potentially be life saving, thank you for deciding to help her instead of treat her like a burden. I’m glad to know I live in a world with people like you.

Never comment. I suffer from PTSD. This is such a great idea. Just the fact that you have her back is incredible! There’s so many that just can’t manage to do that.

As a person who has suffered from anxiety and depression for most of my life you are f awesome for doing this. She may not take advantage of it all the time or you may think its not helping but trust me it does.

I also have crippling depression and anxiety. This brought a tear to my eye. Thankfully, I have a very understanding husband today. However, in the past, I’ve had to endure the awful comments like, “quit being so lazy” or “it’s all in your head” or my personal favorite, “have you tried just being more positive”. This gives me hope that more people are starting to understand mental illness!

It just goes to show everyone, if you have a loved one in your life who is suffering from something you cannot control, there are ways to show that you care and are there for them beyond just words. Small acts of kindness go a very long way, especially to those who are unable to help themselves sometimes. Bravo to this man, an example for us all.
