There’s nothing quite like young love, hormones raging it’s a magical thing. According to Lewis, the entire young cast was crushin’ on each other throughout the filming, who could blame them?! Between a bunch of young people forced to spend an insane amount of time together, this sort of thing was inevitable.
“Effectively for us, it was like being in school. We started tutoring on set and we were on set all the time, so I think that everyone had crushes on everyone else at some point,”
What a lot to pick from too, I wonder what my crush from 10-years ago. Not Emma Watson things that is for damn sure! The sparks don’t stop flying there. Don’t even get us started on Valentine’s day. Valentine’s day seemed to be a huge deal when we were younger. Now, it’s just presents, dinner, flowers you know? Back then it was a crazy time. Trying to figure out who you’re going to give candy or a card to. Are you going to go on a date to the movies with him or her? Can your mom drop you off? What if someone else asks them before you? It’s a trying time for the young heart and mind. Valentine’s day was also a big deal on the set of “Harry Potter”.
“There was always Valentine’s Day – everyone would write secret Valentine’s cards to different people. I think on the second [film] there was like love notes and love letters flying around… It was just exactly what you would imagine you would get in any high school. Just we happen to be in a film studio.”
Thanks, Matt!
I would have much rather been in a film studio I can tell you that much. It may not be surprising, but it’s fun to hear the stories from someone on the set of “Harry Potter” “. guess the bottom line is I miss Harry Potter, and I can’t help but imagine if Emma and Matt started dating towards the end of the movies. They fall madly in love and get married they have now become a real-life love story encompassed in Harry Potter. I don’t know if I enjoy any two things more, oh, what could have been.
