After dropping several hints over the last year, Disney finally revealed the full official cast of Jon Favreau’s The Lion King on Twitter on Wednesday. And the casting COULD NOT BE ANY BETTER.

The adaptation of the 1994 animated film will be a “new take” on the story of the lions of Pride Rock and will feature “pioneering filmmaking techniques,” according to Disney. It will be a live-action remake much like Favreau’s other Disney cartoon adaptation, The Jungle Book.
But what’s really exciting is the cast. Obviously, BEYONCÉ AS NALA is casting perfection.
But we are also blessed with Donald Glover as Simba, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, and Keegan-Michael Key as a hyena named Kamari. Not to mention Eric Andre as hyena Azizi, John Oliver as Zazu, and Seth Rogen as Pumbaa!!!
