Madonna’s Daughter Lourdes Is Being Bullied For Having Body Hair

Lourdes Leon, Madonna’s 21-year-old babe daughter was once on a beach with some friends. Why is this news? Oh, because she didn’t shave her armpits and when a photograph taken and posted without her permission hit the justjared Instagram, all sorts of gross little worms crawled out from behind their anonymous digital mask to spout hateful comments.

Here is the picture in question:

You’d think people’s eyes would be drawn to her perfectly sculpted eyebrows, super tight bod, or incredible ability celeb children have to never ever look bad in photos, even candid ones. But no! Attention was instead drawn to her downy little patch of underarm hair, which in my opinion is both cute and hot, but also it doesn’t even matter what my opinion is BECAUSE IT’S NOT MY BODY.

One commenter wrote “gross as f*ck” but is also a literal Kristen Stewart fan account. Another wrote “So she appears to have shaved her legs as far as her hips but not her pits. Shouldn’t it be shave all or nothing?” which is flawed logic but also this person takes pictures of tablecloths and posts them to social media so when it comes to logic they are probably not the authority. You reap what you sow, my friends. Others called Lourdes a “gross feminist” (LOL).

Luckily, it seems the world is not completely doomed. Many commenters came to Lourdes’ defense, writing “hair is natural. If you can have it at the top of your head then why not the rest of your body?” and “I personally think it’s creepy when people (men in particular) want women to have the bodies of little girls and shave everywhere. If women want to shave that’s fine but they shouldn’t just to meet sexist expectations and try to have an unreal body image when men don’t feel the pressures to meet these same standards.” Now that is logic I can get behind.

Anyway, the point here is that if you find yourself butthurt over the body hair of a stranger, you need to seriously reevaluate some things absolutely everything your life is about.
