This Florida School District Just Banned Homework Forever & We’re Now Moving To Florida

Everyone knows how awful homework is. It’s bad enough we’re stuck in school 10 months out of the year – learning sh*t we definitely don’t need in the real world, but, it’s even worse when we’re stuck home for hours doing “homework.” Teachers just love to make us suffer – don’t they?

Well, students in 31 Florida schools are definitely celebrating because guess what?

No. More. Homework.

According to the Chicago Tribune, the superintendent of the Marion County school district has decide to get rid of homework for the entire county. According to Heidi Maier, the superintendent, the elementary schools that are involved in this have been studied and according to the results, giving homework has not improved academic performance.

Instead of kids sitting doing worksheets and math problems – they will be required to read for 20 minutes every night instead. And, the best part is, it can be any book they select.

Sounds like heaven on Earth.
