Everyone remembers what it was like to be young and crafty, making bracelets and necklaces out of just about anything we could find. Long gone are the days where we sat in our parents’ offices making paper-clip chokers and using Pepsi caps to make bracelets.
One woman has changed the DIY game forever.
Meet Emily Seilhamer and her kick-ass Starburst dress.

In the coolest DIY project I’ve seen to date, Emily used 10,000 Starburst wrappers to create a beautiful dress. According to Emily, the project was one that was close to her heart – her husband apparently met her by offering her a Starburst.
She told Mashable:
“I met my husband when we were teenagers through Starburst. To break the ice he offered me a pack of Starburst. It was his favorite candy.”
As an adorable and romantic gesture, Emily wanted to create something using wrappers. She ended up asking her husband to save all of his candy wrappers for her and before she knew it – she had thousands.
While it looks amazing and I can only imagine how much hard work went into making it – I also wonder if her husband’s jaw hurts from eating so many Starburst (too soon?)
