If you’re a fan of Harry Potter, you’ll know the empty feeling you had when you finished the last book in the Harry Potter series. Luckily, you were able to prolong you obsession by watching the movies, playing the video games and making Harry Potter references in everyday life (or is that just me?).
But, fear not my fellow Potterheads – two new Harry Potter books are dropping this fall and we cannot wait.
According to the Associated Press, the books will be released in conjunction with the 20th anniversary of the publication of the first Harry Potter book – Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. As well, there will be an exhibit opening at The British Library called “A History of Magic.” The exhibit opens in October and will be open until February 2018.
As well, the books are coming out to promote the exhibit. While they’re not exactly continuations of the Harry Potter story – they are about Harry Potter’s world. The first book, Harry Potter: A History of Magic – The Book of the Exhibition, will show readers and Harry Potter fans everything they need to know about Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The second book, Harry Potter – A Journey Through A History of Magic, will give readers more knowledge about witchcraft overall.
We’re not the only ones who are excited.
